Eric Jackson, June 2012: 'In Five to Eight Years' Facebook Will 'Disappear in the Way That Yahoo Has'
Weeks after Facebook's shaky IPO, the Ironfire Capital founder said on CNBC that it would miss the shift to mobile and fade into a has-been by 2020.
What was said

— Eric Jackson (founder, Ironfire Capital) · said Jun 4, 2012 · due Five to eight years from June 2012 (2017-2020)
Facebook grew instead. It reported 2.80 billion monthly users at the end of 2020, up 12% on the year.
The Story
Said on CNBC's Squawk on the Street. He defined disappearing by Yahoo's example: 'Yahoo is still making money, it's still profitable, still has 13,000 employees working for it, but it's 10 percent of the value that it was at the height of 2000. For all intents and purposes, it's disappeared.'
Facebook did make the move to mobile. Compare cannarella-facebook-2017.
