Mhlakela's 'Final' Rapture Date: October 12-13, 2026
Rapture Preacher Moves the Feast of Trumpets to October, Sets Oct 12-13: 'This Is the Final Date for Me'
Joshua Mhlakela's Sept 23-24, 2025 rapture came and went. A year on, he says the calendar was off by a month and names Oct 12-13 as his last date.
What was said
“God told me because there's no other date coming out, 12 to 13 October, which is the true feast of trumpets, which is when I will be meeting my savior face to face in the rapture.”
— Joshua Mhlakela (South African preacher, in YouTube interviews) · said Sep 15, 2026 · due October 12-13, 2026
Window: Monday, October 12 to the end of Tuesday, October 13. He says there will be no other date.
The fine print
Said in a CENTTWINZ TV YouTube interview published September 15, 2026 (the date on the YouTube page; the Daily Mail dates the interview September 17). The quote is checked against the video's auto-generated English transcript, which has no punctuation; the punctuation follows the Daily Mail and IBTimes UK, which quote the same words. Right after it he said: 'there's no other rapture date. This is the final date for me. I will never have another rapture date.' Earlier in the interview he said 'time is off by 30 days' and: 'Many are saying Feast of Trumpets is September. When you Google is September 11. ... The true feast of trumpets is actually in October.' He described the passing of the 2025 date as a delay, God giving people more time to repent. Earlier dates on file: Sept 23-24, 2025, moved to Oct 7-8, 2025 (both in the mhlakela-rapture-2025 entry). In a March 24, 2026 CENTTWINZ TV interview he had also pointed to 'the fourth and the 5th of April' 2026 and said 'my prophecy cannot pass the 14th of May.' That April 4-5 date, with its May 14 hard stop, has its own entry (mhlakela-rapture-2026-apr). Mike Winger's Oct 5, 2026 video on this October date replays the quoted clip (at about 2:47-3:15 of his video). Jokes are aimed at the forecast, not the man.
