Earth's Axis Shifts and the West Coast Becomes the 'Isles of California' by 1998-2001
Psychic Gordon-Michael Scallion Sold 100,000 Copies of a 'Future Map' of a Drowned America, 1998-2001
His Future Map of the United States 1998-2001 left little of the West Coast or Florida. 'By 1997,' he said, your compass would point a different way.
What was said
“if you were to take out your compass, you would find it pointing in a different direction. I think that the Earth's core has shifted its position, and that is what is going to change the magnetic field.”
— Gordon-Michael Scallion (psychic, publisher of The Earth Changes Report) · said Oct 5, 1995 · due 1997 to 2001
California, Florida and the Mississippi valley were all still on the map at the end of 2001, and compasses still pointed north.
The Story
The full quote opens: 'By 1997,' Scallion said, 'if you were to take out your compass...'
The Virginian-Pilot: Scallion 'foresees a shift of the Earth's axis, continent-altering earthquakes' and is 'author of the "Future Map of the United States 1998-2001," which reveals his vision of what awaits this country - not much left of the West Coast or Florida, a great yawning sea running down the middle of the country.'
More than 100,000 copies of the map had been sold. A 1994 Los Angeles Times piece said his superquake had already been rescheduled once, to 'sometime before 1997.'
