The fine print
From the encyclopedia's summary of Strangers Among Us (1979): the shift would be followed by 'a period of chaos' and then 'an era of unprecedented peace and brotherhood.' The book also said 'Scientists from other planets are now assembling to observe the axis shift, but will keep themselves hidden.'
